Can you play Bugaboo to win?

I can't precisely time the charge on my jump. The charge meter moves too quickly. Even if I just tap the key, I get several dots right off the bat. Even if I could time the charge, Bugaboo moves so fast--and the difference in jump distance is so great--that it would take some time to recognize what kind of charge I want. At times, the game can feel random.

Can you get better at Bugaboo?

For me, it's been helpful to think of that meter in terms of 3 portions. The parts that give me pixel hops (full, empty, barely charged), the parts that give me low hops (somewhat charged to a bit under middle charged), and the high jumps (the rest).

You're right in that it's way too fast to be precise, so everything else needs to be divvied out in terms of which jump allows you to get where, and which spaces allow for the best upwards mobility.
