He talks about how much content we're already losing (Most recently, the P.T. demo), and how little effort there is to preserve a lot of this stuff. He's really passionate about it, and it's something I think is really important to begin thinking about especially as videogame history keeps growing.

On that note, Sonic Retro is down right now, but recently there was a huge breakthrough in Sonic X-Treme archival. I'll post the thread when it's up!

It makes me sad to see all the stuff getting lost... I'm happy at least some people fighting for game preservation even if it's technically illegal. Really hope ESA and game companies will see the value in preserving their history, and see them as more than disposable products...
This is another thing that worries me about a "all-digital game future". With no physical copies, games only existing on online stores and servers that can at any time be removed forever for anyone who hasn't gotten it yet... anyone who wants to play it in the future...
