Path 1:
From the first room, take the northeast exit northward.
That room has a P. cure and M. bulb in the northeast corner. Take the southwest exit westward.
Meet the end of path 2.

Path 2:
From the first room, take the exit westward.
Climb under the brush and meet the end of path 1.

Paths 1 and 2 meet up:
Take the northmost exit east.
Take the north exit.
On the west, with a lone dead tree, is one dungun. Here's your first soul.

Take the exit northward.
Take the exit eastward.
Take the exit northward.
On the east wall of the room is a lizard man with your second soul.

Take the exit southward.
Right by the entrance is a dungun and the third soul.

Backtrack a couple rooms: exit northward, go west and exit southward, then exit westward.
Go north, climbing under the brush, and drop down the ledge to the west. There's a douma that's got your fourth soul.

In the northwest is the first altar.

Additionally, if you swim south to the other side, you get a shortcut back to the beginning (or, if you die and have to reenter the dungeon, a shortcut back to the altar 2 area!)

From the first altar, swim south to a defense potion on an island. (Accessing an item you could see before but couldn't reach.)
Take the southeast exit eastward.
Exit northward.
Climb under the brush in the northeast corner to get the Sticker and an M. bulb. (Accessing an area you knew could see before but couldn't reach.)
Take the eastmost exit southward.
The pit to the south now has water in it. (Before, it was empty, and all you could do is climb up the way you fell in.)
Exit eastward.
Exit northward.
Collect P. cure.
Exit southward.
Destroy the boulders with Roc Spear. (Odd that you just switched it out for the Sticker like two seconds ago, too.)
To the south is a dungun with a soul.

Exit eastward.
Go north under the brush. The left dungun has a soul. There's also a chest with an S. bulb in that enclosed area.

Go east and down into the dried up lake. Keep going northeast, and you'll hit this point:

The funny thing is, you absolutely need the douma to blow you into it--you can't just get the douma to exhale sharply at the wall.
While you're here, the top douma has a soul.

Climb up out of the lake and exit westward.
This lizard man has a soul. He's also guarding a magirock.

Exit eastward, climb up, and go north to reach the altar.

The area for collecting third altar souls begins here:


Exiting the second altar, you can enter the lake on the east end of the screen. There's a westward exit now opened up, but it's pointless.
Leads to this.
Instead, swim to the south to this point.

Head east to the other side of the lake, then northward to get 65 gems and a life potion.
Exit southward.
The northern demi basilisk has a soul.

Exit south.
The northwest douma has a soul.

Exit south.
The south douma has a soul. There's also a magirock farther southeast.
Also, be sure to remember that spot in the top right of this image--that's where the fourth altar is.
Exit north.
Exit north.
Go west to this point and swim to the southward exit.

Swim west and exit the water to the north. Travel further west. This demi basilisk has a soul.

Exit south.
Exit east.
Exit south.
Swim all the way to the west to find a magirock. Swim east to the altar.

Exit north.
Exit west.



Exit south.
Exit west.
Swim southward to the land mass. In the chest is a luck potion.
The landmass to the north will take you back to the opening area. (You can use this as a shortcut to the fourth altar if you die at the boss.)
Exit east.
Exit north.


Exit north.
Exit north.
Go east and exit south.
Exit south.
Exit south.
Your altar is there.
