An InfoCom text adventure. The player is a university student trying to finish their term paper during a snowstorm. Discovering that their document has been corrupted they undertake an adventure to salvage the corrupted term paper. Influenced by H.P. Lovecraft, adventure includes encounters with steam tunnels, sinister beings, and a powerful evil within the school's depths. Rated: Standard difficulty.

Nuisance #1: Typing "South" takes you south. Typing "S" is shorthand for this. Typing "Look" prompts an examination of the current room. Typing "L" is shorthand for this. Typing "Look South" prompts a message telling me to use prepositions. "Look AT south". "Look INSIDE south", "look UNDER south" are all parseable commands.

So, a tradition with Infocom games is to include feelies, or physical goods related to the game that double as DRM. I hadn't realized there might be a feelie puzzle with this game until I tried to login to the PC. There are two important feelies here (
