Chapter 8 Review

After blowing up Belial at the end of chapter 7, you have to escape the weirdo cloud place while being assaulted by triggered Belial spawns and gargoyles. New baddies appear in the mansion. The last time you see Belial during the intro sequence, he blows up and releases a pesky seal that's been on a door since the beginning of the game.

There's a room where you summon a goofy thing by lighting 5 candles.

Is that the garden from chapter 4?

Also, the shootout in the courtyard is an actual fight. Wow!

Er, you get a cutscene if you give up and go back to the tower through the chapter 4 entrance. Weird!

Statuette appeared in the room where you summon the guy with candles. Why did it spawn? When did it spawn?

The lighting engine works really well in these corridors.

This FAQ says I used the statuette on the wrong door and skipped ahead to chapter 10. Hmm.
