Chapter 1 Missions

Make it north to the Paterson Marketplace at 2D (8,8). Here, you'll find cheese-eating microbes for k$60. With those in tow, go back south to the Jersey City Marketplace (just southwest of the SLH HQ, it's at 2C (12,8)), and use those microbes on the bomb.

Once you know what to do, it's over lickety split. Everyone collects 100 experience points for the trouble. Matilda will congratulate you when you return to HQ, but there's no need to turn your mission in to her or anything.


Go to the Paterson Marketplace at 2C (8,8) and pick up the can of sheep spray. Then, go south to the East Orange Marketplace at 2D (7,11) and use the spray on the sheep. Done and done, collect your 100 experience points.

You do need to turn missions in to Matilda for them to be marked as "complete" on your mission screen, but you get the experience points as soon as the sheep are cleared from the town.


Complete 1-1, 1-2, 1-4, and 1-5. Use the rag from Newark (10,2) (you'll get this after completing 1-5) to collect the transmission fluid from Jersey City Marketplace at 2C (12,8) (you'll get this after completing 1-1), the dirt from the Paterson Church at 2D (7,10) (you'll get this after completing 1-4), and the drool from the East Orange Marketplace at 2C (7,11) (you'll get this after completing 1-2).

Go to Dr. Entropy's hideout at 2C (4,12). Put the rag on the plorpium wall (you'll know to do this after reading the warranty present in the hideout). Go through the door that's revealed. Use Robomop's Clean Almost Any Mess to clear up the garbage in Dr. Entropy's office. That will reveal a plug that you can unplug (looking at everything in the room will clue you in to this).

The mission is over, but you should probably pick up the 100 watt light bulb and the cone. You might have to interact with the cone twice to get it--let me know if you have issues getting it, too. Maybe I was just being a ditz with the mouse.

You'll get new missions once you return to HQ.


Go to the temple at 2D (7,10), break the flower pot (click on it, then "Break" will appear in the list of verbs on the left), and take the magnet.


Go to Newark at 2C (6,8), then go to the warehouse at Newark (10,2). Use the Iron Tummy's Eat Spicy Food Without Distress to eat the spicy food (without distress).
