Gonna keep these all in the same thread so that we don't end up with like nine-hundred mission threads. Feel free to post mission recaps!

I say "please take the X" whenever an item isn't relevant to the immediate mission but will be needed later.


Task
- Preserve the secret formula for Silly Putty.
Clues
- The only living person who knows the formula for Silly Putty is in Hackensack at Sector 2D (13, 6).

Solution
- Get the pappy outfit from the Newark Control Tower at Sector 2C (7, 6).
- Go to Hackensack at Sector 2D (13, 6).
- Enter the Shaman's Tent.
- Wear the pappy outfit.
- Speak to the old man and pretend to be his pappy.
- Remove the pappy outfit.
- Speak to the old man and remind him that he's supposed to see someone like you.
- Please take the plastic egg.


Task
- Discover why the Scranton Superhero League is not responding to communications.
Clues
- Central Newark has transportation to Scranton.

Solution
- Make sure Mademoiselle Pepperoni is in your party.
- Go to downtown Newark at Sector 2C (6, 8).
- Go to the tubestation at Newark (9, 10).
- Ride the tubecar on the first basement. You'll need the gray tubepass that Treader Man brought.
- Take the bowdlerizing ray.
- Go to the Scranton Superhero League HQ at Scranton (6, 5).
- Use the bowdlerizing ray on the Playboy magazines. This is only possible if Mademoiselle Pepperoni is in your party.
- When you leave, you'll take the lump of coal automatically.


Task
- The Piscataway warlord is becoming more belligerent.
Clues
- The mansion is at Sector 1B (13, 9).
- You must steal or hide his toupee.

Solution
- Take the bust from the shelf.
- Put the magnet on the shelf.
- Wait for the warlord to leave.
- Please take the paperweight.


Task
- Doctor Entropy has almost perfected a species of pigeon with "perfect aim".
Clues
- Doctor Entropy is at the Newark Airport, which is in a flooded region 2 squares south and 1 square east of downtown Newark. Downtown Newark is at Sector 2C (6, 8), so the Newark Airport must be at Sector 2c (7, 6).

Solution
- Take the Sinatra tape from the basement of the Superhero League of Hoboken HQ at Sector 2C (13, 9).
- Buy the 50y transmitter from the Piscataway Marketplace at Sector 1B (12, 7).
- Put the Sinatra tape in the 50y transmitter.
- Turn on the 50y transmitter.
- Visit Doctor Entropy at the Newark Control Tower at Sector 2C (7, 6).
- Give the plastic egg, avocado, paperweight, and lump of coal to The Collector. (He collects antique airplanes, superhero heads, Stephen King first editions, and misshapen spheroids.)
- Go upstairs.
- If you haven't prepared the 50y transmitter, you'll get a chance to talk to Doctor Entropy. If you have it set up and turned on, it'll skip you right to clearing the mission.


Task
- Acquire some guacamole for the League's Cinco de Mayo party next month.
Clues
- Guacamole is available somewhere in Sector 1C.

Solution
- Go to the Guacamole Factory at Sector 1C (4, 5)
- Take the frosted panel.
- Take the 98 watt light bulb.
- Put in the 100 watt light bulb.
- Pick up the guacamole.
- Please take the avocado.
- Note that the guacamole will leave your inventory once you return to HQ.

[Yakoma]

The superpower of treading water isn't well explained. Even with Tread man in my party, there was never an arrow indicating that I could move to flooded areas. As I learned from Golem, you need TWO members with this this superpower over 50% in order to reach the control tower which is necessary for two of the missions.

[Yourself]

It actually does say that in the warning if you try to move onto a flooded/sea area without the right party members - but ONLY if you're using the keyboard. To move into flooded cities it's two members at or over 25%, and to move over plain water it's THREE members at or over 50%. It's pretty feasible to get the former by the end of Chapter 2 and the latter by the end of Chapter 3 - at which point you'll be able to explore the entire main map.
