This is north of the third tower on the world map. What's this about? This is also just south of the starting town, but it's only accessible from a passage that leads north past the third tower.

Whoa, cool. I never noticed that extra area with the rocks. Those look like the rocks that you can destroy with the Roc Spear, obtained in Grecliff. But I don't think there's any way to get back to Dark World on your own in Chapter 2, so it must be somewhere you need to revisit in a later chapter.
