Also, Adam needs to learn to get a better grip on the sword of Eternity. Stop losing it, man.
Anyone know what happens if you choose not to help Rebecca here? Is it an illusion of choice thing?

Brian Crecente is super photogenic. I gotta give it to the devs, the characters sure are fun to look at.

2. I'm really beginning to notice a lack of commentary on Adam and Rebecca's part. Before when you mentioned getting the sword the first time, he makes a grand deal out of it. Getting it back is worth nothing, though.
3. I'll continue to hate mazes, but this hedgemaze wasn't so bad. Getting to the center vs getting through the other size is much more managable to me.
4. I sort of like the monsters in the garden dimension zone area dropping vials when they die.
5. I know they were trying to set up a cool ambush thing with the monster dropping on me at the point where the two paths cross, but this also happened to me which sort of ruined what that ambush built up.
Image

PS: While the brain is another maze, I like that it seems to be nowhere flat. That is, it seems that all walls connect at an angle. Even dead ends seem to have weird convex or concave edges in the center.
PS2: This is a level where the engine's wonkiness works in favor of it. I've noticed when approaching or moving away from a wall sometimes it will stretch or move where it doesn't seem like it should. This gives the webbing texture on a walls a more interesting look to them, I think.
PS3: An unexpected betrayal!
PS4: Finally a level I can solve with just my bare fists. I can't help but feel like the game was building to this level, what with all the smashable windows, but that's just me.

Cool escape chapter! The mansion--yes!! Finally got to use Florentine's Staff. Wonder how long that dog takes to kill without it.

This game is missing some boss fights with important characters, but oh well.

Adam wanders out of a closed room onto the side of a mountain. The scope of this scene is great--expanses like this must've been a big reason to own a game-worthy PC back in the day.

Rotate-the-turret-and-blow-up-jewels puzzle
Doesn't count as a puzzle.

Block and two cannon puzzle
12 blocks

7 switches
switch 1:
-block 2
-block 3
-block 4
-block 5
-block 6
-block 11

switch 2:
-block 1
-block 4
-block 5
-block 7
-block 8
-block 10

switch 3:
-block 3
-block 6
-block 11

switch 4:
-block 2
-block 4
-block 8
-block 11
-block 12

switch 5:
-block 6
-block 9
-block 10
-block 12

switch 6:
-block 2
-block 3
-block 10
-block 11

switch 7:
-block 1
-block 3
-block 5
-block 7
-block 9
-block 11

Cool puzzle! Don't forget: shoot once to eliminate the forcefield, then again to hit the switch!

Floor spotlight and moving mirror puzzle
Platforming yay! Not really yay.

Sand block puzzle
Remember that you can cross over diagonals.

Checkerboard puzzle
Not sure how you should know the way back. It's (always relative to your last move):
-forward
-forward
-left
-forward
-right
-forward
-forward
-left
-right
-left
-forward
-left
-right
-forward
-left

Sheesh!

Mirror and floor that looks like it's moving but isn't actually moving puzzle
I want to barf. It's dark on your way back!

One cannon and many mini pipes puzzle
This one is a mirror puzzle or Pipe Dream or something! Note that you redirect the pipes horizontally, never vertically. Also, when the ball goes through a pipe, it goes up one notch. I do wish it was easier to tell which switch corresponded to which pipe. Don't forget: shoot once to eliminate the forcefield, then again to hit the switch!

My solution:

Hard to see teal and green wall puzzle
These walls are hard to see as you move them. Seems cool though.

Flamethrower guy. He's very enthusiastic about his job!

I never had to solve that last puzzle, the one with the hard-to-see teal and green walls. Huh?

Holy cow, the image room from chapter 12!

LOL. Joke Belial fight. Use the blunderbuss if you have it. I actually used the strafe keys!
